Hidden Sculpture Traditional Cache

Bourne Wood is a quiet ancient woodland with mixed conifers and semi-natural broadleaf trees. There is a car park and picnic area - however, please be aware that there are no toilets at this site. Visitors can walk up to the ponds on good paths which are suitable for mobility scooters. Although this cache is near to a good footpath, this footpath and cache location is not suitable for mobility scooters and the path can be muddy at some times of year.

When we first moved to the area there were many sculptures hidden within Bourne woods. Sadly some have been removed, others have decayed or been defaced but others thankfully remain.

This cache is placed in full view of a sculpture on a quiet path where I have often seen deer and is less often walked than the main path.
