Entrance to the Woods Traditional Cache

 Bourne Wood was originally part of the primaeval Brunswald Forest, now covering some 400 acres that have been owned by the Forestry Commission since 1926, and the area is managed for conservation as well as recreation and timber production.

There is a car park, ponds and picnic area, and many good paths suitable for mobility scooters and buggies. 

Bourne woods is a lovely place to walk with a warren of good footpaths to explore. The cache is placed at a little used footpath entrance to Bourne Woods. Parking can be found in the main car park and it is then only a short walk on a good footpath to the cache. 

This cache is beside a path that is suitable for mobility scooters but assistance may be required with the retrieval of the cache.
