The town of Sunny Corner came to be after the discovery of silver lodes in the area in 1884.
prompted a "rush" to the area and a town grew up on Crown Land adjacent to the mining leases.
The village of Sunny Corner had a good sized population in its hey day and was formally gazetted as a village on 2 October 1885 and gazetted as a town on 3 September 1887.
In the 2006 census Sunny Corner had a population of 626.
This one is a simple multi and should be a quick and easy find after a short drive to another community facility and GZ.
To find the South Co-Ords find the Marble Plaque on the building.
On it there is a date. Make this AB-CD-EF.
