Geocache Description:

This Geocache can be accessed by car, boat or on foot and is located along the Shannon Blueway the first of its kind in Ireland, the Shannon Blueway allows guided and unguided paddling and walking along the Lough Allen Canal and Shannon River from Carrick–on Shannon to Drumshanbo. The paddle allows visitors to experience the delights of the waterways and the rich and diverse culture and heritage of the Shannon in county.

The Geocache can be accessed by car, boat or walking and is located at the last lock on the Lough Allen Canal before it enters Lough Allen near Drumshanbo. Be carefull at the lock as the water is deep.
