When I first moved to Okeechobee almost 30 years ago, what we all now call Mount Chobee was not much bigger than a large ant hill. The original trailhead to the summit of the mountain was on the north side, near where the cache is hidden. That trail has since been closed to the public, and a new trail has begun on the south side.The mountian has also grown in size and odor by about 10 times.
When the cache was hidden, it contained a log and some swag to trade. Please don't block the business driveway when stopping for this one. Happy caching!
