Located on the South Gippsland highway in picturesque South Gippsland the Hedley Hall has served the people of Hedley and the surrounding areas since 1912.
Hedley is a small hamlet located between Alberton to the east and Welshpool to the west, situated on the South Gippsland Highway the area has a lot of history. Hedley only has a few residents now mainly farmers. The historic Hedley hall has served this area since 1912 and dances were held for soldiers that were landed by frigate at Port Welshpool. The hall is located close the Anglian church built in 1922. The Hedley primary school was in operation from 1886 to 1986 and is commemorated by a plaque close to the hall, the old school no longer exists.
