Geocache Description:

Easy walk. Slightly hill on way to cache.

We're from Boscawen. Hannah Dustin is actually a Massachusetts woman, captured by the Indians in 1697. She escaped in Boscawen, and became somewhat of a local heroine in doing so. It's the ultimate in "Girl Power!" It's a big deal in New Hampshire and Massachusetts to count her among your ancestors. We're not among her descendants, but put a picture of our own Hannah dressed up as Hannah Dustin in the cache. See: http://www.hannahdustin.com/. This geocache celebrates girls, and has little treasures that appeal to girls. (And a few that would appeal to both boys and girls!) Try to bring at least one thing that would interest a girl, and enjoy! An easy walk from the parking area to nice spot. Great for a picnic or just to see what's there. It's only .3 mile round trip.
