Geocache Description:

Cache is not at posted coordinates.

Peter has always had a handful of classmates at school who are geocachers. But most of the time… he really hasn't had a chance to talk about it much at school. The math class he took to get ahead over the summer was an exception though… because his math class was full of fellow cachers… and even his teacher, Mrs. Summers, was an avid cacher who always seemed to find a way to work geocaching into the homework problems.

Mrs. Summers even found reasons for them to go on outside excursions to practice their math skills in the solving of caching puzzles. She had really managed to get everyone involved and interested in the the math they were learning… because they could see it in action.

But now the summer was over and they had to wrap up the class for the year. But as a congratulatory clebration for all that Peter and the other students had successfully learned… Mrs. Summers said they wouldn't have a test, as such… but promised to bake them something special for the last day of class.

When the last day of class came… ironically on the day of Groundspeak's final souvenir of the 2015 Roadtrip… the Puzzle Day… the students all filed in and took their seats… smelling something delicious in the air. They began guessing what it was that Mrs. Summers had made for them. Susie said, "I hope it's cookies." Bobby declared his wish for it to be a cake with sweet icing. Peter said, "I really hope it's a pie!" And a few minutes later… they saw what it was they were smelling — a HUGE pan of brownies… cut into tiny, bite-size pieces… each with a digit on top of it.

All the children circled around the brownie pan on Mrs. Summers' desk… wondering what all the digits were on there for. Mrs. Summers grinned at them and said… this wasn't just a treat for their mouths. This was one last geocaching puzzle for them to solve for the class.

They all said, "Thank you!" for the treats… and for the chance to find another cache. Peter liked the brownies… but still whined that he really wished it had been pie. Mrs. Summers patted him on the shoulder and said, "I think these brownies will be good enough for you. They have some pie in them too."
