Geocache Description:

Park in one of the parking lots for the Wareham Little League ball fields complex located off Charge Pond Road.

"I never feel more at home than at a ballgame." - Robert Frost

The first Little League was founded by Carl E. Stotz in 1939 in Williamsport, PA.

The league grew during the 1940's with the end of World War II.

Wareham Little League was founded in 1953 and thousands of children have played in town. The fields off Charge Pond Road were opened in 1979.

If you come during baseball season beware of muggles all around.
