The fifth and final "stop" of the road trip is to find a mystery cache. Mystery caches often encompass one of many tasks such as field puzzles, brain teasers, logic puzzles, geocaching challenges, and trivia which must be completed to acquire the final cache's coordinates.
Over the past couple months I've been exploring the world of logic puzzles and have created quite a few mystery caches that include solving some different types which I have discovered. Here I bring to you another logic puzzle type named Neighbours.
The objective/rules are as follows:
- Complete the grid such that every row and column contains every number exactly once.
- The symbols on the grid indicate neighbours (e.g. 1 >< 2, 3 >< 4, 2 >< 1).
- Rule 1 - if there is a symbol the numbers are neighbours.
- Rule 2 - if there is NOT a symbol the numbers are NOT neighbours.
The coordinates you will need to find this cache are N 41° 4U.V0W W 071° 2X.Y8Z. Good luck, and as always, happy caching!
