Yes Ned Kelly was Born sometime in December 1854.
Yes the family settled in Victoria Ranges North of Melbourne.
Ned did have a Father He did work but he was Naughty when he stole horse to supplement their income. But he got caught and Goaled but died while in Goal. Ned had lost his father figure so the family moved to Eleven Mile Creek Ned worked at a young age as a Timber Cutter, Rural worker, Ring Barker and also mustered Cattle. At 14 years old Ned was a naughty Boy when he stole 10 schillings from a Chinese man. At this time this is when Ned stated “I want to be a Bush Ranger “
Over the Years in Australia there was Plenty of Bushland areas where TheKellyGang Travelled
One area TheKellyGang Travelled was an Area of South Australia and to an Area of Sevenhill. Recently there has been evidence found that TheKellyGang had camped out and resided in the Sevenhill Bushland with wonderful views amongst the Gum trees and Native animal’s of the area.
The land was later owned by private land owners but then during 1960’s National Parks Bought the land from the Private owners then during April 1968 the land area purchased was then Officially Named Spring Gully National Park.
So now its your turn to take a walk in the Park and discover the Location found where TheKellyGang had once walked. Please be aware that during Summer be carful of snakes and other Native animals may be out so would be better done in the cooler months and step carefully respecting the Bushland area.
