Logan's Link: BIRCH Traditional Cache

This cache forms a link between Logan's Walk trail (cache  3) and Logan's Run trail ( cache 5) on an old overgrown landrover path if you want to combine the 2 trails. It also makes a nice  stand alone cache or forms a small mini trail depending on where you park . 

This cache was placed here to form a link between two other routes on the Ballogie estate.

The Logan's Walk trail is a 2.5K  circular route which takes you around the lovely hamlet of Ballogie.The Logan's run trail is a 5K circular route which takes you through the forests and woodland and over a small hill.

Ballogie borders the renowned Deeside Way which  hosts its own 'Explore Royal Deeside' Geotour, and a wealth  of local information for both locals and touristscan be found in the red telepone box at the beginning of the trail. 

Please, whilst out walking take care to respect the countryside and always follow the Scottish Country Access Code.In  particular, keep animals under close control at all times. please do not drop litter , and in keeping with the Geocaching society values consider picking up any rubbish you do find.
