This cache location is a jewel of the area, but not all that many people know about it. As a matter of fact, there's not any sign that I know that indicates this place exists until you reach the parking area. It always seemed like an unexpected public access point to me. However, as we geocachers tend to do, we like to place caches in areas we want to show off to others. No other caches exist in the immediate area either so all the better.
This area can also be great for fishing. I caught one of my first fish on a fly line in this general area. It can also be home to a million mosquitoes, so consider yourself fairly warned. Also be warned that crossing a bridge of solid construction will be required, and that minding your footing will be necessary. 2022 update: cache slightly relocated. Terrain increased half a star. Sure footing will be required for both the bridge and the effort to obtain the cache itself.
I hope you enjoy the short walk to a pretty location. Please feel free to let me know if there are any issues at all with the cache. Hint is a complete spoiler so recommend only using it if needed.
Congrats to doglover&pups for FTF!
