Geocache Description:

I’m a really passionate geocacher from Germany, enjoying this exciting hobby “caching around the world”.

During my upcoming visit to Hawaii it would be a great pleasure to meet with local geocachers and with other non-Hawaiian cachers who might be on the island at the same time.

Event time is from 6:00 PM until 7:30PM. Please come and go as you please!

This will be my very first event as a host - I am of course hoping that it will be fun for everybody!

I will arrive at HNL late Tuesday evening and hope to have well acclimated to the time-difference until Thursday evening I’ll be quite awake to meet all of you great folks on the island! You will recognize me according to the picture below and I will also be wearing a name-tag ‘annalotta33’ with the GC-logo on it.

We can meet, have a chat and exchange exciting stories about chasing and finding treasures at incredible sites and places...

Please meet at 6:00 PM on Thursday, September 10th, under the palm tree near the end of the parking lot. I openly confess that the location is a ‘copy-paste’ of a very successful event hosted there in the end of July by Robin 1 from Texas. It is a real nice place based on the pictures posted in the logs of many attendees. And the beach is also close to the place I will be staying at – how nice!

One little request in advance:

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE post a note with your will attend (or just a note) or send me a message to give some additional clues of things you assess as a ‘MUST do’ for me while visiting the beautiful island. Both in terms of sightseeing- and (of course!)  geocaching-highlights. I would especially be interested to cover the whole range of geocache-types available – meaning traditionals, mulit-caches, mysteries, webcams, virtuals, wherigos, letterboxes and – my great passion: earthcaches. I am more than happy to receive your clues and recommendations – THANKS!

In exchange everybody attending the event will receive a decent little souvenir to take away

Finally: If you have travelbugs/coins that want to go to Europe, please feel free to bring them! I will be more than happy to carry them along and will have opportunities to drop them off either in Norway, Germany or Italy during the coming weeks.
