In March 2015, I was in the Cook Islands madly logging the couple of finds I had there. Suddenly, I realised there was a new cache published that I had not been aware of - and it was still unfound! So into the hire car we jumped and drove close to GZ, walking the last hundred metres or so and sure enough, once we arrived at GZ the cache was soon in hand and it had a CLEAN LOG!!! It wasn't until the 2015 Mega Event in Stanthorpe when out caching with some friends (you know who you are!) that a geoKid kept mentioning he was out caching in thongs... I had a great comeback for that - I got a FTF in the Cook Islands, IN THONGS!
Another friend (and you know who you are, geoDad!) loved hearing about the Cook Islands FTF story and the the thongs part seemed to be a required addition... The story soon caught on with many replaying it to this geocacher - and it even made it to the noticeboard at the Mega!
Turns out I'm not the only Aussie to get a FTF in the Cook Islands wearing thongs - speaking of b@w, I wonder if he will get FTF on this one??? Nope - congratulations to Ali600 and Seemyshells on a joint FTF.
Trackable TB6QH01 (http://coord.info/TB6QH01) began its journey at the cache location for the FTF to start on its way.
