Partschins mit seinen Fraktionen Rabland und Töll zählt mittlerweilen über 3700 Einwohner und ist gerade durch den Tourismus und die Vielzahl an Wandermöglichkeiten (16 Spitzen über 3000m) bekannt. Mit 2 Aufstiegsmöglichkeiten kann man in kürze beide Bergseiten ohne Probleme erreichen.

Die Gemeinde Algund hingegen ist etwas größer (sie zählt schon über 5000 Einwohner) und hat als Fraktion das Dorf Forst (bekannt durch die größte, lokale Bierbrauerei). Auch Algund ist bekannt durch den Tourismus und die Obstwirtschaft. Was sie mit der Gemeinde Partschins verbindet ist die vielzahl an Wandermöglichkeiten, vor allem die beliebten Waalwege entlang des Sonnenberges.
