Welcome to the Hawkeye geoart series!
This is a collection of 125 puzzle caches of varying degree of difficulty. Some are more challenging and some are easy enough for anyone from the other two state universities. (I'm kidding; Iowa has three fantastic state universities.)
Geocheckers are provided for puzzles without a straightforward solution. Permission was obtained for deviation from the suggested 2-mile radius to keep caches grouped together and away from houses, traffic, and parking restrictions as much as possible. While many caches are park-and-grab, others require a hike. A few have challenging hides or terrain. Most people plan on more than one day to complete the series.
While this isn't a typical geoart series, I hope that everyone will find aspects they enjoy. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
