Another cache I've located along the Illawarra Highway, which stretches from Albion Park (Wollongong) in the east to Hoddles Cross Roads in the west. The highway is relatively cache-less (if thats even a word!!) so I plan on placing a few to fill the gap.
I drive past this location on a regular basis and always wanted to stop and check out the area and then I realised, that this would make a great location for a cache! So......now it has one!
You can park on either side of the cache location and then its a couple of hundred metres walk on reasonable terrain. I don't recommend parking along the side of the highway as it is narrow and vehicles are coming at you doing at least 100km/hr!!! The east side is best for parking.
The cache is located amongst the gums, but you will need to watch out for the wombat hole! Its hidden in a way that I had found interesting on a previous cache find and vowed to use on a hide one day. The cache is suitable for small swops and trackables. Bring a pen.
