[JST] Santuario di Vicoforte Traditional Cache

VICOFORTE
Piccolo comune di circa 3.000 abitanti, originariamente abitato dai Liguri, venne poi conquistato dai Romani per poi passare sotto dominio sabaudo.

Il fatto di trovarsi in una posizione strategica portò Vico e la vicina Mondovì negli interessi di Napoleone Bonaparte durante la sua campagna d'Italia e Vico ebbe a soffrire di rappresaglie e vandalismi.

IL SANTUARIO
L'imponente e spettacolare edificio fu eretto per volontà del duca Carlo Emanuele I di Savoia, le cui spoglia sono custodite in una delle cappelle. Costruito in più riprese tra la fine del XVI e l'inizio del XX secolo, vanta la cupola ellittica più grande al mondo. Se gli esterni sono spettacolari, gli interni sono ancora più sorprendenti.

LA FIERA
Si svolge nel settembre di ogni anno, da circa quattrocento anni. Nata grazie alla concomitanza dell'afflusso di pellegrini per la festa della natività di Maria e la spontanea organizzazione dei venditori locali, è divenuta nel tempo una delle più grandi fiere della provincia di Cuneo e attira visitatori anche da altre regioni. Dura un'intera settimana e si può acquistare di tutto: dall'abbigliamento ai mezzi agricoli agli animali di qualunque specie. Vale davvero la pena!

IL CACHE
La piazza è affollata durante le messe e durante la fiera perciò richiede grandi capacità di dissimulazione.

Una volta firmato il logbook, assicuratevi che il contenitore sia ben chiuso e riponetelo esattamente dove e come lo avete trovato. Grazie.

AVVERTENZE E RACCOMANDAZIONI
1) RICOLLOCAZIONE DEL CACHE
Il cache è oggetto di frequente manutenzione. E' facile, tuttavia, incorrere in perdite o esposizioni eccessive ai babbani. Si prega pertanto, di riporre il cache esattamente come indicato nelle foto spoiler.

2) REGISTRAZIONE
La veridicità dei ritrovamenti è fondamentale per garantire una manutenzione programmata ed efficiente. Al termine di ogni sessione di manutenzione verrà pubblicata foto del registro delle firme. Verranno eliminati tutti i ritrovamenti che non trovino riscontro. Nessuna eccezione.

THE FAIR
It takes place in September each year, almost for four hundred years. Born thanks to the combination of the influx of pilgrims for the feast of the Nativity of Mary and the spontaneous organization of local vendors, it has become over time one of the largest fairs in the province of Cuneo and attracts visitors from other regions. It lasts an entire week and you can buy everything: from clothing to agricultural vehicles or animals of any species. It is really worth!

THE CACHE
The square is crowded during Masses and the fair. It therefore requires large capacity of concealment. Once signed the logbook, make sure that the container is firmly closed and put it exactly where and how you found it. Thank you.

WARNINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
1) REPOSITIONING THE CACHE
The cache is subject to frequent maintenance, however, it is easy to incur losses or excessive exposure to geomuggles. So please put exactly where indicated in the spoilers.

2) LOGS
The truth of the founds is very important for a scheduled and efficient maintenance. At the end of every maintenance session a logbook photo will be published. Every found which does not match the logbook will be deleted. No exception admitted.
