This area will have a lot of muggles in almost all of the time, especially during term time. Trying to find a place to hide a cache that is muggle free is pratically impossible but I've done my best to put it somewhere you should just be able to walk up to and grab with an explicit hint. My advice is always do your caching in areas like this with a sense of purpose and you usually don't get challenged. If your anxious about being seen whilst caching this might not be the best location for you!
The Parkinson Building is a grade II listed art deco building. Despite being only the 17th Tallest building in Leeds, to me this is one of the Leeds landmarks visible for miles around that I most associate with Leeds. The Parkinson Building was designed by Thomas Arthur Lodge and Thomas Geoffrey Lucas
It was named after Frank Parkinson who donated £200,000 towards its construction. Parkinson was a local electrical engineer and entrepreneur who studied at Leeds University.
Construction began in 1938 but due to WWII construction was delayed and the it was opened in 1951 by the then Princess Royal, Mary, Countess of Harewood who was also Chancellor of Leeds University.
The Parkinson building has an art gallery open to the public with a copy of Shakespeare's First Folio being amongst the notable works there.
