Located at the entrance of Henry's State Park. The park is 15 miles west of Yellowstone National Park, this high mountain lake is the kind of place fishermen dream about. If you plan on visiting the state park for recreation there is an entrance fee. Since the geocache is located at the entrance and one half mile from the fee booth there is no entrance fee to simply grab the cache. There is limited parking at the cache site. If you need more room there is a pull out located at the dirt road entrance just south of the cache.
This geocache is a special type of geocache called a Letterbox Hybrid which is both a letterbox and a geocache. The cache contains a stamp that is meant to remain in the box and is used by letterboxers to record their visit. To read more about letterboxing, visit Letterboxing North America. Please do not remove the stamp. It is to remain permanently in the geocache.
