Sometimes things happen for a reason and I tried to place this cache by a different name not far from here but it wasn’t possible to place a cache in that location. So I decided to look around and after trying a few areas spotted this great big eucalyptus tree with the sunlight lighting it to a golden colour. Eucalyptus trees naturally shed their bark to help in fuelling wild fires which clear areas and aid in germination of seedlings. This leaves a beautiful smooth surface great for climbing.
As I walked over I could see the lower branches arching down to the ground giving a good way into the tree and just had to go and explore. Well all I'm going to say is what a great climb this tree is, I so enjoyed it I actually ended up climbing into it three times, exploring different parts.
Start by balancing up the lower branches and the follow the natural route around the trunk, there are a couple dead bits bit easy to spot and not needed to get to the cache.
This can be quite a busy area at times, have fun and be safe.
