Waiuku Forest Circuit #4. Traditional Cache

Waiuku Forest is open from 7am - 6pm daily.  Permitted activities in the forest include; horse riding, mountain biking and walking the dog.  During summer periods the forest may get closed to the public due to fire risk.  From the parking co-ordinates head west into the forest taking the low road to the right.  Through the gate then onward.

There is no cellphone coverage in the forest area.

The fourth and last cache in the circuit round the northern end of the Waiuku Forest.  Keep to the well formed vehicle tracks, no requirement to go bush-bashing.    

From time to time sections of the forest are closed for felling operations, these are well sign posted.

At the co-ords is a man-made apparatus, look inland along the top of the aparatus approx 8m to an object laying upon the ground.
