The cache is located at the old cable car station of Puntra Indren which was abandoned in the early 90's. You have a splendid view over the Bors and Indren glaciers and all the surrounding mountains. The old station is also the start of "La Balma", a classic freeride route. It can be reached very easily in summer and winter from Gressonney as well as from Alagna via the new Punta Indren cable car which was opened in 2009. Nonetheless this is high alpine terrain. The cache is not at the new Punta Indren top station! You need to walk over a glacier / snow fields in the summer and ski off-piste in the winter. In winter better bring a shovel. If there is a lot of snow you might not find the cache.
