Geocaching has many legends both past and present.
This geocache is dedicated to THE LEGENDS, the late Bigfoot15 and Mizdeeds, who were part of a quartet of geocachers which included Windrose and saginawmike.
Mizdeeds is known for hiding high quality and downright devious/evil caches. As a new cacher in 2010, the "In Plain Sight" caches; hidden by Mizdeeds and Windrose, were some of my favorite and most challenging caches. Really, how difficult can it be to find something hidden IN PLAIN SIGHT, oh very difficult!!!
Bigfoot15 passed away on March 8, 2009 and although I never had the honor of meeting him, through his logs I felt as if I knew him. He never hid a cache as he said he enjoyed finding them.
Mizdeeds and Windrose honored Bigfoot15 with a memorial cache, GC2CKZW - The Bigfoot Memorial Lending Library. I felt honored to have found this wonderful cache prior to it being archived. Take the time to read the description and the logs (it may help solve the puzzle) and you will see what a great man he was and how much he is missed.
The Legends were known for their detailed, informative, and descriptive logs along with their back and forth bantering notes.
When I began geocaching in 2010 I would spend hours pouring over their logs, gleaning the few and far between hints and laughed at their good natured ribbing.
I hope you have as much enjoyment reading their logs as I did and still do today.
