A Letterbox Hybrid that is not hidden at the posted coordinates, but is nearby. In addition to the normal logbook and trade items, it also contains a letterbox stamp, inkpad, and stamp book. Please do not remove the stamp, ink pad, or stamp book. THEY ARE NOT TRADE ITEMS!
This letterbox requires a small amount of route finding. Park at the suggested parking, then make your way to the posted coordinates, which are on a small side trail just south of the Cypress trail. Follow this trail as it meanders along to the west. When another trail joins from your left (east), ignore it and continue to the west. After going through a small dry creekbed (without a bridge), you will see a large (30+ feet high) boulder on your left. Leave the trail and work to the the south of the boulder. The Letterbox is hidden under a smaller boulder which is 5 feet high. When you find the container, do NOT remove it from it's hiding place or attempt to pry the lid loose, but instead unscrew the lid. Total distance from parking to cache is 1/3 miles.
