Geocache Description:

Belmont Regional Park is a great place to escape to do some walking, cycling, or picnicing. There is a great mixture of terrain and environs to enjoy, so there is something for everyone.

This is the first in a series of caches around great Wellington hill climbs. You need to gather clues from each cache in the series in order to solve a final puzzle series, so make sure you take note of every piece of information you are asked to collect. You will need it for the final series.

At the published co-ordinates is a bridge. A = the number of people allowed on the bridge.

At WP2 there is a fence, with a phrase stenciled on it. This is BCD.

The final location for this cache is at:

S41 11.alpha bravo charlie  E174 52.xray yankee zulu

alpha = A - (# of letters in B) - 2(# of letters in C)

bravo = (# of letters in D)/2

charlie = A - (# of letters in B) - (# of letters in D)

xray = twice the # of letters in C

yankee = A - # of letters in C

zulu = three times the # of letters in C

checksum: alpha + bravo + charlie + xray + yankee + zulu = 26

The final cache provides the information that is E

And then it is not quite over... the cache is placed below the Belmont trig, and since you have come all this way, it would be a real shame not to go there. There are surprising and astonishing 360 degree views from the trig, and on the trig is a four digit number. This is F.

Parking is available close by the published co-ordinates.

The cache is a 200ml sistema, with a log book only.
