A simple earthcache in the quarry. The coordinates will take you to an information board which contains the answers to the questions below. There is parking in the quarry and on the other side of the road.
To be able to log this earthcache: please e mail or pm the answers to the following questions:
1: What rock type dominates the cliff face in front of you?
2: What is this rock made of and how was it formed?
3: Where are similar rocks being formed today?
4: Looking at the cliff in front of you, explain the difference in appearance between the top and bottom of the cliff. Which do you think is the dominant rock and which do you think is one of the other types mentioned on the noticeboard? .
Photos are always welcome but not of the info board please! You can log the earthcache at the same time as sending the answers but logs without answers will be deleted.
