Our annual Christmas tradition includes taking a day to cut down a tree with the entire family. For many years, this road was the access point we used to go and find our tree. This road is associated with frosted trees, iced by snow, with deep snowbanks that we would throw each other into.
Relatives would come to Prince George just to join our Christmas Tree Day, and when they hesitated to shake the snow off the tree so we could get a look at it, the rest of the family would stand in this road and yell “Shake the tree Vancouver-boy!” Each year we have a new CD made with music for the express purpose of being played while we searched for the tree.
We have placed this cache to share a spot that looks like nowhere, but holds some pretty special memories for our family.
