Geocache Description:

Woody Kiln Geocache

This Geocache is located in Herbrandston, which is one of only 14 doubly Thankful Villages in the UK, in that it suffered no fatalities during either World War I or World War II.

Gentle walk through the lane from the centre of the village of Herbrandston, passing St Mary's church which is well worth a visit.  It contains a worn effigy of what appears to be a 14th-century knight holding a sword. or approach the location by road.

This is a small cache (but big enough for trackables and for gifts to the be left/swapped.)  It may be found near the entrance of Woody Kiln Farm.

Original cache contents:  £10 Note from the Isle of Man, logbook, pencil and sharpener.
