Geocache Description:


 

Skalani is a nice village in Crete. It's easy to be found on a map so it's easy to go there. If you are lucky (I mean super lucky) you will come the the day of the big Cretan fest (29th August).

There is a famous winary estate named Boutari, which has created  a red wine with the village name.



Το Σκαλανι ειναι ενα χωριο στην Κρητη. Μπορεις να το βρεις ευκολα σε χαρτη οποτε ειναι και ευκολο να πας. Μπορει να σταθειτε τυχεροι (σουπερ τυχεροι) και να ερθετε την μερα του μεγαλου πανηγυριου (29 Αυγουστου). Υπαρχει εκει και το διασημο οινοποιειο του Μπουταρη. Επισης ο Μπουταρης εφτιαξε ενα ερυθρο κρασι με το ονομα του χωριου.
