Geocache Description:

Found this neat marker while out driving in the country.  The marker states Peter DeWitt built his home at this site in 1821, and it was the first home built in Union township.  Isn't it neat to just stand there in that country setting and imagine a pioneer home there?  We could not find anything else about Peter Dewitt, but we welcome any information on him or his family.  Cache is a micro with room for a log only so please BYOP.
