Retro Building (KobeYusenBuilding) Traditional Cache

This building was Kobe branch office of Nippon Yusen before.
Nippon Yusen is the shipping company which represents Japan.
It's a beautiful building with built history approximately 100 years before.

メリケン波止場のすぐ北の初代米国領事館の跡地に1918年、曾禰達蔵・中條精一郎の設計により旧日本郵船神戸支店として建設された近代ビル。
港町神戸を代表するレトロでモダンなデザインの建物です。

ハーバーランド・メリケンパーク・ポートタワーの湾岸観光から、元町・中華街へ向かうちょうど中間辺りにあり、居留地を代表するモニュメントです。
