Geocache Description:

The Blanket Creek Swimming Lagoon is a fantastic place to spend a hot afternoon.  The cache is located just off the parking lot at one of the trails that lead to the lagoon. The cover of the trees does make the GPS bounce around a bit, so use of geosenses may help you more than technology.

We bring the family camping here every year specifically to hang out at the lagoon on an almost daily basis.  With 360 degrees of beach all around it, the kids are never out of sight, the water is warm, and the grassy picnic area is well shaded most of the afternoon.  There is also a playground and swing set for the kids.
