1172 mslm - Assieme ai sobborghi di Gionghi e di Cappella, il centro abitato di Chiesa è uno dei centri frazionali più rilevanti dell'altopiano di Lavarone. Ed è probabilmente il più antico. Ruota attorno all'ampia e soleggiata piazza Italia e alla chiesa parrocchiale, dedicata a San Floriano, affiancata dall'antico (1785) ed elegante edificio della canonica e da palazzine il cui stile risale chiaramente all’inizio del ‘900. Indubbiamente una delle più suggestive piazze montane del Welsh Tirol, si presenta semplice ma al tempo stesso ricca di storia in un contesto di bucolica serenità.
La piazza è delimitata a sud dall'imponente ed elegante Grand Hotel Astoria, simbolo della più qualificata tradizione turistica lavaronese. Poco oltre si apre il profondo e ampio bacino del lago, avvolto e quasi nascosto dai versanti boscosi di monte Rust.

1,172 meters above sea level - Together with the suburbs of Gionghi and Cappella, the center of Chiesa is one of the most significant fractional of the Lavarone highland. And it is probably the oldest. It is located around the large, sunny Piazza Italia and the parish church, dedicated to St. Florian, flanked by the ancient (1785) and elegant building of the rectory and buildings whose style dates back clearly at the beginning of '900. Certainly one of the most beautiful squares of the “mountain” Welsh Tirol, is simple yet full of history in a context of pastoral serenity.
The square is bordered to the south by the imposing and elegant Grand Hotel Astoria, symbol of the most qualified tourist tradition of Lavarone. A little further on is the vast deep basin of the lake, surrounded and almost hidden by the wooded slopes of Mount Rust.
