As a kid, I used to ride my 3 wheeler from my home in Troy through the woods to a small pond in Swanzey near the sand pits. I noticed there are very few caches placed in this general area, so I was hoping to place one near the pond. The entrances that I remember to get there, however, are now blocked off with large signs stating private property and no trespassing. There are power lines nearby, with a small stream flowing across. There is a small path by the power lines, and as of now, a cache placed along the path. :) There is room for swag and travel bugs. Note there are lots of mosquitos though, being close to the water, hence the cache name. There is also a sign for anglers when you first pull up to the power lines - fly fishing only. I have never fished here, and the water seemed too low to do so now, but if anyone brings a pole along, let me know in your log if you caught anything!
