Geocache Description:

A traditional cache in the very large and quite old Williamsburg Union Cemetery.

This cemetery has some extremely old stones in it, and though it appears well maintained, some of the stones are in disrepair. I originally though that the "father" of the McIntosh apple might be buried here, as there are many McIntoshes buried here, it seems that he is buried in Iroquois. Have a look around as some of the stones here are very historic. Williamsburg is nothing special these days, but in the 1800's it was a very vibrant community.
