Bagot is certainly one of the many "blink and you'll miss it" communites in rural Manitoba. Built along the CP line, and right on PH 242 it used to be a thriving community with a store, school, church, postal office and community hall. The school closed in 1966, when students were bussed to nearby MacGregor. Since then, the area is gradually lost services, with the operating Canada Post office closing in the late 80's-early 90's ( mail delivery is still daily to superboxes) being one of the last to go. To the NW of GZ, there also exists the hall, which is plainly in unusable condition. The pride of the people that live here still runs deep though... there's nowhere else they'd rather be!
Cache is accessable year-round and contains log, pencil and sharpener. Quick park and grab!
