Geocache Description:

Another in the Hardin county cemetery series. Take care driving down this unpaved road when it's really wet or really dry. The curves are a max 20mph when the sand is powdered. You can make it, just don't get in a big hurry.

This is Bracken Cemetery, named for the family that lived down this road and was one of the early founders of Honey Island. They also owned Bracken pool, a natural spring swimming pool that was very popular here until the state told them they'd have to chlorinate it or close it, so they opted to close it. As with so many historical roads, this one now ends here and no longer goes through.
