So many cemeteries in Hardin County. I just wish they were all accessible. This is an active cemetery to be respectful of those present, alive and not so alive.
I stopped here after my harrowing experience trying to get to the old Sutton Cemetery and my legs were still shaking. A beautifully maintained and shaded cemetery in Honey Island, the hot seat of Civil War dissidents in the area. Parking is in the shade too so you can take your time, relax and enjoy the peaceful solitude here.
