Klettersteig Tschenglser Hochwand

Der 2002 errichtete "neue Klettersteig" führt in spannender, zum Teil recht luftiger Linienführung durch die Südabstürze der Tschenglser Hochwand. Technische Höhepunkte sind die steile Einstiegswand und eine Leiter im oberen Teil. Der knapp einen Kilometer lange Steig ist einer der höchst gelegenen Klettersteige der Alpen. Im oberen Teil entspricht die Routenführung dem "alten" Erich-Otto-Klettersteig bzw. dem alten Normalweg. Vom Gipfel eröffnet sich ein herrliches Panorama auf Königsspitzte, Ortler und zahlreiche andere Dreitausender. Der Blick auf das 2400 Meter tiefer gelegene Tschengls im Vinschgau bzw. zum kleinen Angelusferner ist ebenfalls beeindruckend.

Minimalausrüstung: Helm, Klettergurt, Klettersteigset und genügend Wasser.

Via Ferrata Croda di Cengles

Via Ferrata all' inizio del canalone si gira a destra fino l'attaco della ferrata. La via è assicurata fino in cima. La ferrata, che è stata fatto del soccorso alpino di Solda è impegnativa con passeggiate esposte.

Attrezzatura minima: Casco, imbragatura e via ferrata set, abbastanza acqua da bere.

Via ferrata Tschenglser Hochwand.

The so-called "new ferrata" was built in 2002 and leads in an exciting partly quite exposed way through the south face of Tschenglser Hochwand. Technical highlights are the steep beginning of the climb and a ladder near the top. This almost one kilometer long route is one of the highest situated ferratas in the Alps. From the summit you have a wonderful vista to Königsspitze, Ortler and numerous other 3000- meter peaks. This view to the town Tschengls 2400 meters below and to the small Angelus glacier is also impressing.

Minimum equipment: harness, climbing helmet and via ferrata set, enough water wise is also a short assicurazione.
