This is our first cache away from home city - hope you enjoy this lovely area!
Our friends have a holiday house at Dolphin Point and have offered to maintain the cache where necessary - please let us know if there is a problem with the cache so that we can let them know. We were walking around the Dolphin Point rock platform with our friends and came upon this small beach, popular with surfers. The rocky area around the beach was filled with intriguing rock stacks. The stacks have not been stabilised with wires, concrete or other forms of support; they have just been skilfully balanced on top of each other!. While you're at this beach looking for the cache, take a look at the amazing rock stacks while enjoying this beautiful piece of coastline and maybe even post some cool photos you take. If anyone can tell us who created these stacks, that would be awesome!
Take the easy dirt track towards GZ at the bottom of a small cliff. There is parking at the top of the track. You can also access this beach by walking around the rock platform to the south of the inlet where Burrill Lake meets the sea. Once you get to GZ you are looking for a 200 mL Sistema container with a logbook, a pencil and a few swaps.
