The Turtle Rock has been a favorite hiking spot for our family. We're sure no one calls it the Turtle Rock except us. It is next to an ATV trail called the Power Line Road.
The original cache was raided, but the original container was returned to us a few days ago, so we marked it with an "Official Geocache" sticker and re-used it.
The contents include some items from the original Turtle Rock geocache, a new log book, and a Travel Bug. We hope you enjoy the view. Our house is in the town below.
The Turtle Rock is a dome of sandstone 20-30 feet in diameter and shaped like a turtle. The stump of a juniper tree protrudes from the top. Good luck!
