Workyticket: As there appears to have been no response from the CO we are archiving this cache listing to prevent it from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements in the area. Geocache Description:

A popular walk through the Brierdene, may even have the odd trade-able item

Cache can be approached from both directions along the black gravel path that runs along the centre of the dene. If walking from west to east with the stream on your right the cache can be found in the long grass to your left. The Brierdene is a small coastal dene on the northern edge of Whitley bay, the site is of ecological significance to the local area. Throughout the year many wild flowers, grasses and herbs can be seen in the dene with 300 recorded trees. Watch out for dog walkers as this can be a busy route.
