Old Mister Touchbody shuffled through the portal, his coat drawn close to his chest to protect him from the winds of time. The turret loomed over him, foreshadowing his progress toward the slowly sinking steps leading to this new life. He slowly turned to catch the last wisp of mortar sealing his return to the comfort of the known, leaving him on the outside of time. Through age cracked eyes he peered into the twenty-first century, challenging history to hold him back and remember where he placed the item.
