Geocache Description:

Our best guess? Some sort of interstellar communication device....... or much more likely, an old air raid horn. We would love to hear your theories (bonus points to creative answers)!!

We've lived blocks away from this towering, yellow eyesore for years. It really sticks out like a sore thumb in an otherwise quaint and quiet neighborhood. It wasn't until we decided to hide a cache here and bring some attention to it that we took a closer look and decided it is most likely an active air raid horn. Still, we thought it would be fun to get some far more creative ideas from the Geocaching community for what this peculiar device COULD be used for.

This is a residential neighborhood. BEWARE OF MUGGLES. Use stealth as necessary. Best not to attempt during middle school opening/closing hours.



[Edit: 2/2/2017] Original cache practically destroyed by rust. Replaced with new container, log, and goodies.

[Edit: 8/31/2015] Added a hint just in case someone gets stumped. Should be a nice, easy find, though. ^_^

[Edit: 8/23/2015 @19:12] 'Gratz to onebadpenny & fallingrox for FTF!!! Sorry there was no space for FTF on the log, guys. Thought we had a sheet, but we need to print more.
