Oleastro’ derives from Latin ‘Olea Europea Oleaster’ and Ancient Greek ‘ởλέαστρο’, the wild olive tree, a species still met in Cyprus.
It is also the name of a theme park, where we have placed a cache OUTSIDE the park, as there is an entrance fee. The cache has been placed with permission of the owners of the park. The park is an interesting place and if you do go inside, beware of the geen button.
The location is easily accessible in an ordinary car.
As always in Cyprus, take plenty of drinking water and beware of snakes.
