Gregory Creek
One of many rail bridges along the Oodnadatta Track and Old Ghan Line.
This one at Gregory Creek is a fine example of them. Not the longest, there is one much longer west of Curdimurka Rail Siding.
A nice, raised location to have a break with a view.
Once again the usual 'Lost Heritage' questions don't apply here, as we all know why the bridge is now abandoned! The Ghan Railway Line was moved to a different, less flood-prone, route.
Take in the serenity here, but be careful of the drop off at GZ!
