We hike this area many times and have placed a series of caches here. We thought it needed at least one more cache and so here it is! We hope you enjoy looking for this. Parking is available in a nearby lot. It should be a quick C&D although you will need to walk a little bit to get to the actual cache. The parking lot will get you very close. You will need to bring your own writing implement. There is room for very small swag. If you are working on the America the Beautiful series, this cache is about the halfway point and such a short detour from the trail.
There is a FTF geocoin in the container, but it has already been activated by the person that gave it to us so you can either keep it or pass it on. We were told we could just keep it, but obviously, we're passing it on. You may do whatever you like.
Please remember to place the cache back exactly as you found it so that it will not be easy for mugglers to spot.
