At the time of placing the series (mid-summer) no cattle were seen on the route but some fields contained sheep and there were a couple of horses.
There are 26 caches, each named after a James Bond movie, to celebrate the success of the James Bond franchise pending the release of the latest title “Spectre” which is due for release in November 2015.
You are recommended to do the series in numerical order as there are 2 multis on the route. A variety of containers have been used with swaps being included where the size allows. You will need to bring your own pen and tweezers for some of the caches.
The route follows public footpaths and instructions have been included, based on walking in a clockwise direction, where this may be helpful.
You may also wish to visit the Church Micros that we have set nearby and also a few of our “Drive on By” caches. GC3P1XR Drop Till You Shop is also close by.
Two parking waypoints have been given. The route commences at Alfrick Church where there is space for a couple of vehicles.
001 – This is a multi and at the above coordinates you will find John Barker's bench. Note the years on the bench and these eight digits will be ABCD and EFGH.
At stage 2, which you will pass later in the series, you will find a telegraph pole with numbers on it which will be 3 JKL.
Use the values from the above two stages to find the cache at:
N52 (J)(K-D). (F) (B-G) (L+C+H)
W002 (E)(C). (B-L) (H/E) (A+C+J)
Check sum:: Total of digits for Northings = 27
Check sum: Total of digits for Westings = 18
